Amazing Meghalaya Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati
- Arrive at Guwahati, either by plane or train.
- Travel to Shillong from the airport or train station.
- On the way visit the amazing man-made Umiam Lake.
- The local agent will greet you and transport you to your accommodation.
- Check in to your hotel and get a restful sleep.

Day 2 : Shillong to Nongkhnum River Island
- Following breakfast, you will go to Asia's second-largest river island.
- You may stroll down the sandy riverbed and see the picturesque sights after you arrive.
- Weina Falls and Langshiang Falls are two wonderful waterfalls to see.
- You may also go fishing at a number of fishing ponds.
- You will be staying in Shillong after a day of sightseeing in Nongstoin.

Day 3 : Cherrapunji Trip
- Have your delicious breakfast and head to Cherrapunji.
- En way, take in the breathtaking scenery of Mawkdok Dympep Valley.
- Explore Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, and Seven Sister Falls, as well as the Garden of Caves in Cherrapunji.
- Enjoy an evening stroll around Cherrapunji's Eco Park.

Day 4 : Trekking to Nongriat
- Proceed to Tyrna village after breakfast at 7 a.m.
- Begin your journey with a local tour to the Nongriat Double Decker Root Bridge.
- You can continue your walk to Rainbow Falls later.
- Climb the 3500 stairs to finish the walk in the same village before sunset.
- Check in to your hotel in Cherrapunji for a peaceful sleep.

Day 5 : Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong
- After your breakfast head to Mawlynnong Village.
- Drive to Mawlynnong, take a short hike around the settlement, and take in the scenery.
- Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh viewpoint, and the longest living root bridge are also worth seeing in Mawlynnong.
- The excursion then proceeds to Dawki, a border settlement.
- The Umngot River, which runs through the town, is noted for its crystal pure waters.
- Thereafter return to Mawlynnong and check-in at your hotel.

Day 6 : Mawphlang Village Tour
- Have Breakfast while admiring the splendour of the East Khasi Hills.
- At Mawphlang, visit one of the area's conserved Sacred Forests, which are under religious supervision.
- The Mawphlang Sacred Forest is located 25 kilometres from Shillong.
- Many magnificent flora, blooming trees, orchids, butterflies, and other forms of Flora and Fauna are found in Mawphlang Village.
- Check into the guesthouse for an overnight stay after seeing the magnificent surroundings.

Day 7 : David Scott Trail Trek
- Enjoy the trekking adventure this morning after breakfast.
- Mawphlang to Lad trekking expedition The David Scott Trail, named for its originator, is also known as Mawphlang.
- Before arriving at Lad Mawphlang, walk via meandering roads, moderate hills, level land, and a strong upward ascent.
- In the evening return back to Cherrapunji for a restful sleep.

Day 8 : Cherrapunji to Laitlum Canyons
- Start your journey to Shillong after breakfast.
- Upon arrival, check into the hotel and have your lunch.
- Get ready to go on an incredible adventure to the Laitlum Canyon.

- Later drive to Shillong and Check in to your hotel.

- Delay in arrival due to many reasons including flight reschedules shall have to inform to us at an earliest and in case of any sightseeing spot missed due to any delay including spending more time in one sightseeing spot, will not be refundable.
- Kajaawa will provide accommodation as per the hotels in the list and in case the listed hotels cannot be provided for any reason like unavailability, scheduled or general maintenance, accident at the hotel, risky road conditions due to bad weather or political disturbance, similar hotels will be provided and you will be informed about the changes in advance.
- In Deluxe and Premium Tour Packages, we will generally arrange Deluxe and Premium Hotels but in interior places, we will arrange Homestays, Guest Houses or Standard Hotels as Deluxe and Premium accommodations may not be available in the interiors for any reason.
- In case of any unforeseen situations which are beyond our control including bad weather conditions, political disturbance etc., we may change your itinerary or dates of travel.
- Travellers may have to bear additional expenses in case of natural calamity including situations like changes in the hotel, changes in tour date etc.
Confirmation Policy
- You have to pay 50% of the total tour cost at the time of booking.
- After paying 50% you will receive an invoice of your payment and also booking confirmation details containing your detailed travel itinerary and hotel information.
Cancellation Policy
- 25% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 30 days before the tour starts.
- 50% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 15-30 days before the tour starts.
- 100% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 0-15 days before the tour starts.
Payment Policy
- 100% of the tour cost has to be paid 1 (one) week before the tour starts.
Refund Policy
- Refunds will be processed within 7(seven) business days in the customer’s bank account.
