Splendid Shillong Cherrapunji Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati
- Pickup from Guwahati airport/railway station by our representative.
- Drive to Shillong and witness a beautiful scenic view of Umaim Lake.
- Check in to your hotel in Shillong.

Day 2 : Shillong City Tour
- Have your delicious buffet and you will start your Shillong Sightseeing Tour.
- Witness the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak.
- Following visit Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park.
- Before evening head to Shillong Golf Course and spend some memorable hours.
- You can do some marketing in the evening at Police Bazar and also buy impressive local made handicrafts.

Day 3 : Dawki and Mawlynnong Visit
- Just after your breakfast, start your tour to the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong.
- In Mawlynnong, witness its cleanliness and the beautiful greenery of its surroundings.
- Furthermore, see the amazing Balancing Rock and Living Root Bridge.
- Later, head to Dawki and visit the crystal clear Umngot River.
- Enjoy the boat ride on the Dawki River and get mesmerised by the clean and clear water as the river bed can be seen from the surface.
- In the evening you will be taken to a campsite at Shnongpdeng riverside and enjoy the bonfire.

Day 4 : Cherrapunjee Tour
- Have your breakfast and head to Cherrapunji for a day-long excursion.
- En route witness the Mawkdok Dympep Valley and enjoy seeing its beauty.
- Visit alluring waterfalls in Cherrapunji like Nohkalikai Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Wahkaba Falls.
- On top of that visit Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave.
- After a tiring day, head to your hotel in Cherrapunji and have a restful sleep.

Day 5 : Double Decker Root Bridge Trek- Shillong
- It will be an adventurous fifth day as you will descend about 3000 steps to Double Decker Root Bridge at Nongriat.
- Witness the incredible root bridge and refresh yourself in the cool and freshwater of the pool beneath the bridge.
- Explore the roots of the root bridge and observe how the roots are tied together.
- Afterwards, you can choose to trek back to Tyrna or continue trekking up to Rainbow Falls.

Day 6 : Umiam Lake and Don Bosco Museum Tour-Guwahati
- Breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Shillong.
- You will visit the Don Bosco Museum today, which showcases the lives and cultures of the tribal people in different collections.
- Following this, you will be driven to Guwahati, where you will be dropped off at the railway station or airport.

- Travellers visiting Meghalaya are required to register on Meghalaya Tourism App and generate an e-invite.

- The vehicle allotted for the tour will be available as per the itinerary and not for general disposal.
- In the Northeast, generally, vehicles like Sedan do not have carriers. You are advised to carry one bag per person. Kindly give us prior information in case you have more luggage.
- Delay in arrival due to many reasons including flight reschedules shall have to inform to us at an earliest and in case of any sightseeing spot missed due to any delay including spending more time in one sightseeing spot, will not be refundable.
- Kajaawa will provide accommodation as per the hotels in the list and in case the listed hotels cannot be provided for any reason like unavailability, scheduled or general maintenance, accident at the hotel, risky road conditions due to bad weather or political disturbance, similar hotels will be provided and you will be informed about the changes in advance.
- In Deluxe and Premium Tour Packages, we will generally arrange Deluxe and Premium Hotels but in interior places, we will arrange Homestays, Guest Houses or Standard Hotels as Deluxe and Premium accommodations may not be available in the interiors for any reason.
- In case of any unforeseen situations which are beyond our control including bad weather conditions, political disturbance etc., we may change your itinerary or dates of travel.
- Travellers may have to bear additional expenses in case of natural calamity including situations like changes in the hotel, changes in tour date etc.
Confirmation Policy
- You have to pay 50% of the total tour cost at the time of booking.
- After paying 50% you will receive an invoice of your payment and also booking confirmation details containing your detailed travel itinerary and hotel information.
Cancellation Policy
- 25% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 30 days before the tour starts.
- 50% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 15-30 days before the tour starts.
- 100% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 0-15 days before the tour starts.
Payment Policy
- 100% of the tour cost has to be paid 1 (one) week before the tour starts.
Refund Policy
- Refunds will be processed within 7(seven) business days in the customer’s bank account.
