Amazing Meghalaya Kaziranga Tour Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati- Short Shillong Tour

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.
Drive towards Shillong. On the way, you can catch the site of the large enchantingly mannered Barapani aka Umiam Lake.
15 Kms north of Shillong, this lake was made by Assam State Electricity Board to generate hydro-electricity.
You can enjoy the evenings by yourself boating, water cycling and other water sports available in the lake.

Day 2 : Outing to Dawki

Have your delicious breakfast and be ready for the mesmerizing drive to Dawki.
You shall visit the Shillong Peak showcasing the amazing view of the whole city.
You can also witness the waterfalls around it and the Bangladesh border too.
Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew, known as Elephant Falls. This phrase translates to 'the three-step waterfall'.
In the meantime you will visit Dawki river, you can enjoy river boating in the cleanest transparent Umngot river.
For adventure lovers, some activities like camping, cliff jumping are also available.
Check in at your hotel in Dawki for a restful sleep.

Day 3 : Visit to Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, get all set to take a day trip to Cherrapunji, the world's wettest place.
Visit the spectacular Falls of Cherrapunjee namely the Nohkalikai Falls.
Then, take a relaxing walk within the limestone cave- Mawsmai Cave, years of natural formation and underground water combined to create this stunning natural wonder.
Next stop shall be the Seven Sisters Falls(Nohsngithiang Falls). Being the 4th highest waterfall of India you can witness this beauty.
You shall visit the Eco Park exploring the beautiful orchids.
Also witness the Dawki bridge stretching long till the Bangladesh border, which too can be visible to you.
Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 4 : Cherrapunjee to Kaziranga Tour

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and leave for Kaziranga.
Then stop straight at the Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary, exploring nature's gateways.
It's a wonderful excuse to imagine a lot of different species with a lot of visibility.
Spend your evening relaxing.
Rest and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 5 : Kaziranga Sightseeing

Get set for the early morning ride to Western Zone via Elephant Safari for about 1-1.5 hours.
Enjoy the jeep safari and witness beautiful bird species and rhino sightings.
Apart from animal species, the park is a comfort to many bird species like Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose and many more.
You can return to your hotel for breakfast.
You can also go on a jeep safari to explore nature at its best.
Enjoy the evening by exploring tea plantations too.

Day 6 : Kaziranga to Guwahati

Leave Kaziranga after morning breakfast and drive straight to Guwahati.
You are expected to reach by afternoon and can check in to the hotel.
You can enjoy the river cruise at Brahmaputra river in the evening if you wish.
Check in at your hotel in Guwahati for a restful sleep.

Delay in arrival due to many reasons including flight reschedules shall have to inform to us at an earliest and in case of any sightseeing spot missed due to any delay including spending more time in one sightseeing spot, will not be refundable.
Kajaawa will provide accommodation as per the hotels in the list and in case the listed hotels cannot be provided for any reason like unavailability, scheduled or general maintenance, accident at the hotel, risky road conditions due to bad weather or political disturbance, similar hotels will be provided and you will be informed about the changes in advance.
In Deluxe and Premium Tour Packages, we will generally arrange Deluxe and Premium Hotels but in interior places, we will arrange Homestays, Guest Houses or Standard Hotels as Deluxe and Premium accommodations may not be available in the interiors for any reason.
In case of any unforeseen situations which are beyond our control including bad weather conditions, political disturbance etc., we may change your itinerary or dates of travel.
Travellers may have to bear additional expenses in case of natural calamity including situations like changes in the hotel, changes in tour date etc.

Confirmation Policy

You have to pay 50% of the total tour cost at the time of booking.
After paying 50% you will receive an invoice of your payment and also booking confirmation details containing your detailed travel itinerary and hotel information.

Cancellation Policy

25% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 30 days before the tour starts.
50% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 15-30 days before the tour starts.
100% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 0-15 days before the tour starts.
