5 Days Shillong Cherrapunji Tour Package Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival & Shillong Exploration

Reach Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and drive to Shillong. (approx 3 hours).
You can visit Umiam Lake for panoramic views or optional water sports on your way to Shillong.
On reaching Shillong, check-in to your hotel and relax.
Explore the city highlight, like Laitlum Canyons.
Stroll through Police Bazar for local street food and shopping in the evening.

OVERNIGHT STAY IN SHILLONG

Day 2 : Explore the Waterfalls of Cherrapunji

Wake up to a lovely day, have breakfast and get ready to depart for Cherrapunji.
You can take a halt at the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint for engaging in ziplining.
On reaching Cherrapunji, check-in to your hotel and relax for a while.
Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and the Mawsmai Cave.
You can also explore Arwah Caves for limestone formations if time permits.
Evenings can be spent in relaxing.

OVERNIGHT STAY IN CHERRAPUNJI

Day 3 : Living Root Bridges & Adventure

Wake up, have breakfast and get ready for a day's excursion to the Root bridges.
Head to Tyrna village and trek down approximately 3,000 steps to witness the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
If time and energy permits, extend the trek further to reach the stunning Rainbow Falls.
After the excursion, return to your hotel and relax.

Day 4 : Mawlynnong Village & Dawki River

Wake up, start your day with comforting breakfast, take a check-out and get ready for an excursion to the Mawlynnong Village and Dawki.
On reaching Mawlynnong, explore the cleanest village in Asia and take a walk across the nearby Riwai Living Root Bridge.
Later, drive to the Indo-Bangladesh border and take a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River.
Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 5 : Departure

Wake up to a refreshing day; after breakfast, take a check out and leave for a small sightseeing adventure.

Delay in arrival due to many reasons including flight reschedules shall have to inform to us at an earliest and in case of any sightseeing spot missed due to any delay including spending more time in one sightseeing spot, will not be refundable.
Kajaawa will provide accommodation as per the hotels in the list and in case the listed hotels cannot be provided for any reason like unavailability, scheduled or general maintenance, accident at the hotel, risky road conditions due to bad weather or political disturbance, similar hotels will be provided and you will be informed about the changes in advance.
In Deluxe and Premium Tour Packages, we will generally arrange Deluxe and Premium Hotels but in interior places, we will arrange Homestays, Guest Houses or Standard Hotels as Deluxe and Premium accommodations may not be available in the interiors for any reason.
In case of any unforeseen situations which are beyond our control including bad weather conditions, political disturbance etc., we may change your itinerary or dates of travel.
Travellers may have to bear additional expenses in case of natural calamity including situations like changes in the hotel, changes in tour date etc.

25% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 30 days before the tour starts.
50% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 15-30 days before the tour starts.
100% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 0-15 days before the tour starts.
